Basic Growing Tips

Discretion is key. Holster your ego and keep your grow to yourself! 

Keep your grow room clean. From top to bottom and everything in between keep your grow room clean and sanitary.

Start with good genetics. You are going to be spending hundreds on grow supplies and utility bills so don’t pinch pennies when it comes to buying clones or seeds. Get good genetics from a reputable source.

Don’t base (or change) your entire grow on the advice of one person. Everyone is a master grower these days. Do lots of research and make sure the advice you are receiving is from a knowledgeable and experienced grower with a proven track record.

Over watering is bad! Over watering is a common mistake and is just as bad as under watering. Root-Rot, fungus, mold, bugs and disease are tell-tale signs of over watering.

Do not over fertilize. More isn’t always better. Be nice to your plants, don’t burn them with too much nutrient.

Do not harvest too early, be patient. A general rule of thumb is to wait until 75%-90% of the pistils have turned orange to reddish-brown. Another way to tell when to harvest is to use a 30x lighted microscope and when about 50% of your trichomes turn from a milky translucent color to amber, the plants are ready to harvest.
